A 2+ pqe Lawyer is sought by this dynamic Top 30 West End practice to join their L500 rated Restructuring and Insolvency team.
The team's expertise spans turnarounds, work-outs, re-organisations and restructurings through to formal insolvency (corporate partnership and individual), both nationally and internationally. Their client base includes accountancy practices, lenders, liquidators, receivers and administrators as well as other stake-holders such as pensions trustees, charity trustees, equity investors and local authorities. The group has also built up an excellent reputation and niche practice in cross-border insolvencies and acts for a number of international clients, including within Europe, the US, and Australia.
You will be involved in a wide range of formal insolvency and restructuring work for a range of clients including lenders, accountants, pension trustees, equity holders and corporates encountering difficulties.
The caseload further comprises:
Cross border and conflicts insolvency issues
Dissolution options (voluntary liquidations and striking off applications)
LPA receiverships
Drafting and implementing of CVAs
A range of due diligence and contingency planning exercises
UK qualification is essential for this role.
