Due to expansion in this business area, we currently have an excellent career opportunity within our Commercial Property Department.
The department is thriving and provides professional legal services to many existing private and commercial clients. Clients can be referred either internally from our Residential Property department or externally via existing clients. There is an extremely good quality mix of work where the post-holder will be tested academically and at the same time will have a lot of interpersonal ‘face to face’ client work.
An important aspect of the role will involve the leadership and supervision of a small team, to ensure that our client’s expectations are met and relationships further developed. Some of our clients are high net worth clients, as well as small to medium sized companies. Many of our clients own and run their own business and they enjoy the personal and professional approach that they have come to expect from dealing with HG.
The person we are looking for needs to have:-
• Qualified Solicitor with current practising certificate and minimum of 7 years post qualified experience in the relevant areas of law;
• Detailed knowledge, specialism and wide-ranging experience of working within Commercial Property area of law to include experience of complicated residential and commercial property matters;
• Ability to draft documents;
• Good commercial acumen;
• Ability to relate to clients at all levels;
• Proven experience of effectively managing teams;
• Proven experience of marketing and working with management information;
• Ability to delegate;
• Experience of working in a quality standard environment (IiP, Lexcel, CLS franchise) for more than 12 months;
• Professional communication skills;
• Computer literate including good keyboard skills;
• Smart appearance appropriate for a professional office;
