Our client is a global leader in the e-commerce industry, and as a result values the hiring and retaining of top talent. They are currently looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to be based at their European HQ in Luxembourg, with the responsibility for their display advertising, promotional and third party seller programs in Europe. This will include drafting and negotiating agreements, as well as advising the business teams on all issues related to these programs. Reporting into the Associate GC Business Development and Technology, you will also be expected to participate in other complex legal projects including structuring, negotiating and drafting general business transactions; administration and resolution of legal issues that arise in existing relationships and handling pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
The candidate would preferably be UK, German, French or Luxembourg qualified, have a minimum of 7 years PQE (of which some in PP) and have a strong transactional background dealing with commercial contracts. Technology licensing is a plus. Excellent English skills that include the ability to draft and negotiate contracts are a must, fluent German or French a plus.
