SENIOR ONLINE EDITOR – ONLINE SOURCE MANAGEMENT
A vacancy has arisen for a Senior Online Editor to work on online and CD products in the expanding LexisNexis electronic environment. The role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an indispensable part of our business. As an Online Editor you take a pivotal role in ensuring our customers receive accurate and timely professional information.
Online Source Management
Based in Halsbury House in London, Online Source Management are responsible for the maintenance of online, CD and web-based products within the Law, Tax & Accountancy, Corporate and Regulatory markets. Online Editors work with diverse editorial and technical departments to provide content for various electronic platforms.
Senior Online Editor Role
The Senior Online Editor will work on the day-to-day running of Assurance UK and US bespoke online solutions, key products in the UK and US Tax & Accountancy markets. You will be required to maintain currency of the products by monitoring and tracking external sources and via internal updating processes. The role also involves working with Business Development to improve existing content and to add new content as required by clients. There will be the opportunity to build both client and third party supplier relationships.
Key aspects of the role:
• monitoring, tracking and updating UK and US Accountancy materials
• ensuring adherence with client and third party supplier SLAs
• quality assurance of published material and working with technical teams and third party suppliers to resolve any delivery issues
• dealing with technical teams, clients and third party suppliers as well as online support, customer services and business development as required
• a good knowledge of LNUK systems and products
Key skills we're looking for:
• understanding of the technical systems used to create and upload electronic content
• an ability to problem-solve and enthusiasm for working on electronic products
• excellent time management, ability to multi-task and coordinate projects simultaneously
• ability to adapt quickly to changing processes and demands
• meticulous attention to detail, strong administrative standards and practices
• good communication skills
• a proactive and flexible attitude towards work
Desirable skills:
• the ideal candidate would be a part-qualified Accountant; or be able to demonstrate an understanding or previous experience of working with accounting standards and financial reporting materials
• experience of working on an electronic service
• able to demonstrate editorial awareness through their experience to date
