Senior Planning Solicitor, Highly Rated Commercial Property Team, Bristol

The purpose of the role is to support and participate in the successful growth of my clients’ highly rated and integrated commercial property team. The role is based in Bristol within an experienced team based across London, and the South West.

The team’s client base is wide ranging, it includes private investors, and small family run organisations through to FTSE 100 property investment companies.

The responsibilities of the role will be to support the planning requirement of the Commercial Property and Construction departments and to develop a recognised planning practice. The successful candidate will have a following and proven ability to develop a planning practice.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide strategic planning advice.
• Keep team/clients updated on legal developments.
• Negotiate and amend Section 106 and other Planning Agreements.
• Advise on planning applications, refusals and appeals.
• Advise on Environmental law.
• Provide guidance on Local Authority social housing requirements.
• Advise on Enforcement Notices and Appeals.

You will be a solicitor or barrister with at least 4 years of experience across all areas of planning law with an outgoing character and enthusiastic business development skills.
