Senior Solicitor

An excellent opportunity has arisen in a small and friendly council for a generic solicitor to take on a mixed caseload. If you have experience of dealing with a varied caseload within a local authority environment you will be highly relevant for this unique opportunity.

The role will involve taking on an existing caseload and reporting into the head of legal. Your daily will include dealing with planning, housing, prosecutions and litigation issues. You will need to attend court so a current practicing certificate is required. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied role with senior responsibilities.

Due to a heavy workload, the council needs someone for an immediate start. You will need to be able to work full time hours for a minimum period of 2 months. The role will pay excellent hourly rates for the right candidate.
