Our work includes advisory work across all areas of human resources law; advising on the employment, pension and benefits implications of termination; and a range of contentious and non-contentious work.
We are currently looking for share scheme lawyers to join us in one of the most dynamic areas of the law, working on transactional work, as well as advisory and dispute related matters. As a Share Schemes Associate your main responsibilities will involve:
- Drafts complex legal documents succinctly
- Negotiates/argues relatively complex issues or points along or alongside partners
- Takes full responsibility for work and delegates, manages and mentors junior associates and trainees
- Participate at seminars/training to clients and other associates and work with our Business Development Manager to generate ideas/plans
- Establish profile and relationships with partners and clients by displaying a good understanding of the client's current business and future objectives and is able to provide commercially oriented advice
- Has structured and timely approach to financial management including regular review of work in progress, billing and unpaid bills.
As a Share Schemes Associate your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
- High quality lawyer with strong technical and commercial background.
- Intellectually strong with top class academics
- Between two to four years experience at a leading law firm
- Have a tenacious and enthusiastic approach to surpass the expectations or our clients
- Confident and self motivated
- Strong technical and commercial abilities
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and supervise more junior lawyers.
- Highly effective communicator (both orally and in writing)
- Able to take on a high degree of responsibility and manage a challenging workload.
