Leading player in the telecoms industry is seeking a competition lawyer. Working as part of the Competition, Legal & Regulatory team you will be an integral part of the business in this busy and challenging role. It will see you delivering advice on competition law across both UK and Europe and have you thinking on your feet. To be considered for this rare in-house opportunity you ideally need to have the following:
Wide exposure to competition issues within the telecommunications sector, including disputes (specifically Articles 101 and 102 TFEU and M&A)
Experience in preparing and writing submissions to regulators and competition authorities
Strong contract drafting and negotiating skills
3 - 4 years PQE and trained in a top tier City firm
No previous in-house experience is required though you must naturally be commercial in your outlook, be able to see the bigger picture and be able to build rapport within the business.
