We have an ever-growing private client base and are now seeking to expand with the appointment of:
Up to 8 SOCIAL WELFARE – Paralegals required
We are looking to recruit experienced paralegals to join our Community Care, Housing and Welfare Benefits teams in our Romford, Hackney and Harrow office.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake Fee-Earning to adequate standards of accuracy and efficiency under supervision and assist in the development of the firm in line with the contents of the Business and Development Plan.
Key Tasks will include: Dealing with indoor and outdoor casework for the Department, attending clients, taking instructions and preparing cases, dealing with correspondence, maintaining accurate time costing procedures and meeting time costing and billing targets.
Experience required on drafting of legal documents, liaising with clients, negotiating with relevant authorities,advisory (advising clients on employment process) and counseling of clients. Also required IT Skills, both WP and computerised time costing; File, Case Management and Billing skills; researching into specific aspects of employment law; time management, working to set deadlines.
