Our Construction and Engineering Team offers strategic and practical advice to contractors, sub-contractors, developers, property owners and consultants, as well as insurers of construction, engineering and professional risks. A number of the team are dual-qualified in both law and construction/ engineering/quantity-surveying.
You will be handling your own caseload of contentious construction matters and assisting where necessary with the non contentious caseload.

You will support the team in developing client relationships and support the Partners in growing the business and raising profile and reputation of the team in Leeds.

You will be a 0-3yrs pqe qualified construction lawyer, with a knowledge of adjudication, arbitration and litigation and a basic understanding of the major forms of building contracts and can deal with disputes related to construction projects.


You will be a confident communicator with the ability to advise a variety of clients within the construction industry, to include professionals and their insurers, contractors and sub-contractors.


You will be commercially aware and be able to understand the clients' commercial context and business issues and apply commercial thinking to legal problems.
