Solicitor 2-4 years - Sydney

About the team:

Teamwork is essential to us being able to provide exceptional service to our clients. We have a busy practice. Our team advise corporate, government and regulated entities across a range of industries in Australia and Asia. On large and complex transactions, we often work closely with our M&A and financial services colleagues as well as with US and European firms. This makes for a fast paced, stimulating working environment.

In this role you will work closely with Luke Waterson and Kristin Leece; senior partners in the team.

About you:

We are looking for a solicitor with a background in telecommunications, e-commerce, privatisation and mergers and acquisitions to join our Competition team.

You will have:

- excellent analytical, communication and research skills - to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice
- strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a key role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with our clients
- team focus - to facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships
- enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities - participating in industry related programs and developing strategic relationships and networks
- first rate experience of drafting documents (including agreements, due diligence reports, contracts, advertisements, witness statements, letters of advice, letters of demand, court documents etc).

You will have recognised telecommunications, e-commerce, privatisation and mergers and acquisitions experience gained in a similar environment and enjoy working as part of a committed team.
