Overview
Our Corporate Finance Team advises on acquisitions and disposals, stock market listings and securities offerings, company structuring, Management Buy-Outs and Buy-Ins, corporate governance, company constitution issues, shareholder relationship structures and issues, joint ventures and special purchase vehicles, regulatory compliance and competition issues. Alternative Investment Market (AIM) specialists working within the team have assisted a number of companies to successful flotation over the past 12 months and are recognised as some of the best in their field.
Role
You will undertake a varied workload on behalf of a wide variety of clients and this will include a mix of general Mergers and Acquisitions work and more specialised AIM/Financial Services work.
You will contribute to non-fee earning activity as appropriate, and comply within required standards for internal procedures.
We encourage you to maintain and develop technical competence through attending training sessions, reading appropriate publications and researching topics as appropriate
Person
Ideally you will be circa 2 - 4 years pqe with strong academic credentials and a proven track record within a high-performing corporate team.
You will need excellent technical skills and a breadth of experience in mainstream corporate work (acquisitions) are essential.
Previous experience of AIM and/or finance work would be an advantage.
Within this role you need high levels of energy, drive and self motivation, ambition and desire to succeed, combined with willingness to take a risk and operate outside own comfort zone is essential in order to support the growth of this new team.
