About you

We are looking for a mid/senior level solicitor with a background in Energy & Resources to join our leading Mergers & Acquisitions team. Our energy and resources lawyers provide strategic commercial advice to clients operating in the energy and resources sectors.

- excellence analytical, communication and research skills - to deliver prompt and commercially astute advice.
- strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability - you will play a key role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with clients
- team focus - to mentor junior colleagues and ensure the effective utilisation of the group
- enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities - presenting at industry related programs and managing strategic relationships and networkds
- first rate experience of drafting documents (including deeds, agreements, memorandums of advice etc).

About the team

Our energy and resources team have extensive experience in major projects across a broad range of industry sectors including oil and gas, iron ore, electricity, energy, coal, alumina and other base metals. Our clients include producers, sponsors, financiers, purchasers, suppliers, distributors, governments and regulatory authorities. Teamwork is important - we work closely as a team and with other practice groups. It is a great place to learn and be challenged.

In this role, you will work closely with Alan Murray, David Perks and Tim Warman, Partners together with a dedicated team of Senior Associates, Solicitors and staff.
