Solicitor Joint Venture - Eversheds, Leeds or Manchester

We are currently looking for a talented Solicitor to join our Commercial practice either in our Manchester or Leeds office. The firm has seen this area grow from strength to strength in recent years and view this as a key growth area, pivotal to delivering the objectives of key practice groups within the firm.

Joining a team of specialists to provide strategic advice and deliver partnership, joint venture and fund structures for public sector and private sector clients in complex development and regeneration projects nationally. The role will also be to lead projects and tenders and to attend interviews. The role will involve working closely with partners and associates in other areas of the business as part of a dedicated national team based in Manchester.

The position will give the successful candidate the opportunity to develop client relationships, taking on active client relationship management roles and to develop unique and innovative products to sell into the market.

The successful candidate will have good technical and interpersonal skills and will thrive in a team-based working culture. They will also be able to demonstrate good drafting skills. We are keen to consider lawyers who will enjoy working in a commercial environment, akin to in-house. Equally, we are interested in talking to corporate lawyers who seek to re-train and use their skills in a semi-transactional, project-based role. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be a team player, they will be able to demonstrate your ability to build and maintain effective client relationships. Full support and training will be provided.
