Residential Conveyancer

A Residential Conveyancer is wanted for an excellent opportunity with a well established law firm based in Stockport. Salary is negotiable depending on experience.

My client is a well-established and highly regarded law firm who specialise in a number of different practice areas and have grown substantially over the years to become one of the leading providers of legal services to the residential property and remortgage markets.

Working independently you'll handle a full caseload of registered and unregistered freehold and leasehold matters in respect of sales, purchases, re-mortgages & transfers of equity. You should be able to build strong relationships with clients and intermediaries and become involved in marketing and business development opportunities.

You will have a proven track record of handling your own caseload of Residential Conveyancing files. You'll possess excellent client care and communication skills, have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and have previous experience handling a large caseload of matters using a Case Management System. You should be a team player and be able to get along with others and enjoy working in a culture that is highly focused within a friendly and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in residential conveyancing and the ability to work with minimal supervision whilst delivering the highest levels of service. Experience of dealing with clients and their estate agents is essential along with a high level of computer literacy and ideally experience of using case management systems.

You must possess previous experience in a Conveyancing role as a Paralegal or Assistant. You will be responsible for assisting on and running a caseload and have the ability to draft correspondence and keep accurate file notes.

Based just outside of Manchester, our client is a highly regarded full service law firm with a long established, volume conveyancing arm.
