Principal responsibilities:

Training
•Research, prepare and present seminars and training workshops on a firm-wide and departmental basis
•Co-ordinate and deliver the department's education and training programme (2 sessions per month)

•Produce client newsletters, blogs and journal articles for external use

The Role

* Attending Partners' meetings and produce to the Partners such financial reports as the Partner's

* Managing outstanding invoices in an efficient and timely way.
* Maintaining payroll of staff and VAT records and make necessary returns to HMRC
* Assisting in the business development activities of the firm
* Covering for the accounts team and assisting in transactions

The Person
In the role of Legal Accounts Manager, it is essential that the ideal candidate has knowledge of solicitors' accounts rules and experience in a similar role. Skills and attributes required are:

* Strong character with good sense of humour

* Strong organisation skills
* Flexible

The salary on offer is £30,000 to £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
