We are seeking to recruit an experienced tax lawyer to join our contentious tax team. Applicants will have between 3 to 7 years post qualification experience gained in either a corporate tax OR a contentious tax practice and should be willing to take a proactive role in the day to day management of contentious tax matters.
Our contentious tax team is an evolving team with a diversified practice that includes both tax litigation and tax investigations. A basic knowledge of the procedures that apply before the Special Commissioners and / or the VAT & Duties Tribunal, together with knowledge of procedure before the High Courts, would be useful, but is not essential. We are happy to consider tax lawyers who do not have litigation experience but are interested in this field of work.
