Large not for profit organisation in the North West requires a team leader with a strong legal background to manage and support their housing team. Managing a team of around 11 you will be responsible for monitoring targets, service standards and caseload. You will be providing legal advice to clients and colleagues so knowledge of general housing law is essential. As team leader you will be required to:
· Management experience or experience of supervising a team an advantage
· Proven experience of dealing with housing law issues, including homelessness
· Previous housing association and public sector experience essential
· Ensure the team meet contractual and performance targets
· Promote and encourage working relationships both internally and externally
· Deal with some aspects of policy work on behalf of the organisation
· Produce reports and provide information when required for Head office
Conveniently located, with flexible working hours. Some travel throughout the North West may be required
£26,500 per annum plus 30 days holiday per annum
