TMC - Birmingham - IT/Commercial - 3+ yrs PQE

A new opportunity has arisen in our Birmingham TMC team for an experienced IT/commercial lawyer with business process outsourcing and joint venture expertise and outstanding technical ability. Candidates will be exposed to the full remit of commercial work in a wide range of sectors including financial services, manufacturing, retail, utilities, education and leisure sectors. In addition to business process outsourcing and joint ventures, candidates will be expected to undertake a wide range of commercial work including distribution, franchising, supply and manufacturing agreements, conditions of sale and assist in the commercial aspects of corporate acquisitions and disposals. Previous experience in successfully negotiating, advising and managing IT procurement, IT and business process outsourcing (both on and offshore) would be a distinct advantage.

The successful candidate will possess a strong track record of delivery, gained within a private practice or in-house environment. Excellent client handling and marketing skills are prerequisite.
