An opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Legal PA to join the Employment and Benefits (E&B) department on a 6 month contract basis.
Requirements
Key skills required include:
- Ability to learn systems and processes quickly;
- Clear and concise telephone manner;
- Proactive, friendly approach;
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn;
- ILEX qualification or equivalent;
- Previous experience preferred but not essential.
Key responsibilities:
Working under the supervision of a Legal PA, key responsibilities include:
- Producing documents;
- Amending documents;
- Diary and telephone management;
- Maintaining databases;
- Assiting Legal PAs with Business Development tasks;
- Assiting Professional Support Lawyers on a regular basis;
- Virtual filing;
- General administration;
- Supporting the team as required.
Who we are looking for:
A proactive, friendly and confident candidate who is happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved. This is a busy role which will involve dealing with staff at all levels, from various areas of the business. A good level of general education up to A-Level or equivalent is required, along with a basic knowledge of Word and typing skills of at least 50 wpm. Previous office experience is preferred, but not essential.
