Transactional Construction Lawyer (from 2yrs+PQE)

Brief

We are currently looking to recruit a Transactional Construction lawyer with 2+ years' post qualification experience to join our Manchester UK Construction & Engineering (UKC&E) Group.

The Team

The Manchester UKC&E Group currently consists of five partners, six senior associates, six associates and six solicitors.

The Candidate Required

The successful candidate will have good experience advising clients and contractors in relation to construction contracts for the procurement of significant projects in relation to property development, PPP/PFI and/or other major forms of procurement. Experience will include contract interpretation, drafting and negotiation.

The candidate will ideally have gained experience in a City firm or large regional practice. Candidates must be technically excellent but equally important, commercially aware and enthusiastic about business development. They will be a team player with a strong client focussed approach. They will also have a strong academic background and excellent communication and organisational skills.
