Treasury Services Lawyer
Our client currently operates in various overseas locations with over 3,000 employees globally. In addition to a full range of commercial banking facilities, the firm is among the leading providers of global custody, foreign exchange, private equity, merger and acquisition services, investment management for individuals and institutions, personal trust & estate administration and securities brokerage. As part of the Office of General Counsel, this role provides general legal counsel to areas of the Firm.
Our client is seeking a new lawyer to join its legal team of 2 lawyers in the London office who cover UK and Europe, liaising with over 12 lawyers in the US as part of their Global Legal Team.
This role will focus on supporting the Treasury Services Businesses across a broad range of areas including FX, Brokerage and General Equity Capital Markets transactions. It will afford a bright, confident, capable candidate a fantastic opportunity for career progression locally and/or globally with the option to cross over to the business in the long term (if desired).
Private Practice or In-House UK qualified lawyers would be ideal but foreign qualified lawyers will be considered. Some financial services experience and/or transactional would be an advantage. Ability to be adaptable and work across a range of areas will be essential for this friendly and growing office.
