The firm has one of the best retention rates in the City and offers a uniquely un-US culture for a US head-quartered firm. It is a genuinely collegiate environment with no internal rivalry and generates a lot of loyalty from staff with lawyers rarely leaving the firm for a competitor.
The hiring partner, a UK qualified leading global patent litigator, seeks individuals with an undergraduate degree or PhD in either biochemistry, genetics or chemistry.

This elite American firm is in a league of its own. The London office has a long English history and is therefore more anglicised than a lot of its counterparts, offering strong English law capability. The firm continues to be committed to organic growth as part of its strategy; approximately sixty percent of its partners are organically grown and the firm remains committed to bringing people in through the ranks. Its arbitration practice is formidable and now seeks an impressive litigator of between 0-3pqe to join the London office to work as part of the global practice headed by 13 partners and around 70 fee earning specialists.
NQs are not being considered. Essential requirements include UK training and UK qualification. Candidates will also have studied law at undergraduate level (rather than the CPE route).
It is hard to imagine a more prestigious arbitration role in the City than this.
