Commercial Property Solicitor required for strong regional firm - Wakefield

Our client, a well regarded firm in Wakefield, have a requirement for a commercial property solicitor to join their team.

Ideally looking for a three year qualified solicitor, the firm is willing to be flexible on this and will consider commercial property solicitors with more and less experience. They do however require a solicitor who has confident client relationship and business development skills. Candidates with a background in residential property that are able to handle a commercial property caseload with minimal supervision will also be considered.

A typical caseload may include:

* Buying and selling commercial property including office, industrial and retail premises
* Hotel and public house acquisitions and disposals
* Property portfolio acquisitions and disposals
* Grant, acquisition and disposal of leases
* Landlord and Tenant Act Lease negotiations and completion of new lease on behalf of Landord or Tenant
* Estate development
* Secured bank lending

The Role

Reporting directly to the Senior Partner duties will include but not be limited to:
•Managing your own caseloads in excess of 200 plus files
•Dealing with a range of claimant pre- litigated and litigated fast track RTA claims from instruction through to settlement.
•Dealing with Fast Track RTA claims

The candidate
To be successful within the role candidates will be expected to:
•Have an extensive amount of Pre and post litigation experience.
•Be well versed in the Civil Procedure Rules and the MOJ Reforms, including handling RTA files under the new Claims process.
•You should also have the proven ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
•Candidates must have excellent communication skills in addition to working well as part of a successful team
