The ideal applicant will ideally be a partner in their existing firm and will be technically excellent in all areas of pensions’ law. You will be expected to provide sound and commercial advice and will have built up a reputable practice where clients are loyal and will continue to provide new instructions. This role is not for the faint hearted as from day one the pace will be fast and furious with the role servicing some of the firms existing clients as well as your clients who have moved with you.

Core Responsibilities
DAC Beachcroft are recruiting for a number of Paralegals to join the Motor team in Birmingham, part of the wider Claims Solutions group. The motor team provide specialist motor legal advice and act on behalf of insurance clients to defend on a wide range of motor related claims.
This is a unique opportunity to develop your legal career and to work along side our experts in motor claims litigation. The team will rely heavily on your own litigation expertise and your efforts will contribute directly towards the overall success of the Claims Solutions group. Guided by your team manager you will quickly become a valued and respected member of the Motor team.
You will take ownership of a pre litigated and litigated motor caseload and regularly interact with your clients. Your key responsibilities will include; analysing evidence and setting case strategies, drafting pleadings, witness statements and letters of response, and negotiating claims. You will be expected to maintain a high level of technical knowledge by attending training forums and reading relevant publications and also proactively support your teams business development activity.
Key Skills
We are seeking talented Paralegals who are passionate and committed to a career in law and who will thrive in a demanding work environment. It is important that you have experience of insurance claim litigation (ideally motor related) and have worked in a commercial/target driven environment . We are looking for a team player with excellent communication skills and a good academic background.
