Kennedys, founded in 1899, has had a continuous presence in the City of London since 1966. In our years in the City we have become known primarily as an insurance driven commercial litigation practice, although we are also recognised for our skills in the non-contentious commercial field, particularly within the insurance, construction and transport industries.
We are one of the leading litigation firms within the City and the majority of our Partners are dedicated to the conduct and resolution of disputes whether by negotiation, litigation or arbitration/mediation.
Our specialist litigation teams handle the whole spectrum of insurance work together with a large volume of work for the construction industry. We have considerable expertise in the transportation sector and a fast growing reputation for our work in the employment, healthcare and insolvency sectors.
Kennedys has three offices in the City; one in Chiswell Street, EC1, one in Lloyds Avenue, EC3 and one in Mark Lane, EC3, close to the Insurance Market in Lloyds/Fenchurch Street and Minster Court. We also have offices in Chelmsford, Cambridge, Manchester, Belfast, Madrid, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Sydney, Dubai and two in India.
We have a significant number of international clients. The firm's associated offices in New York, San Francisco, Dublin, Paris, Beirut, Moscow, and Karachi together with our German, Spanish and Russian lawyers based in-house in London, ensure that we can advise our clients on all their commercial problems within most jurisdictions.
