This law firm has a history going back to the late 1800s when they were established in the City of London. They opened their first overseas office in the 1970s and now have offices in many locations across the globe. They are now a dynamic, commercial firm and leaders in their specialist business areas.
They are looking to hire a Partner Finance Assistant on a permanent basis. This person will be part of the Partnership & Tax team, who are responsible for the partners' financial affairs, as well as maintaining the firm's international financial structure.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and arranging payment of partners' monthly drawings.
Preparing and accounting for partners' ad hoc payments.
Preparing and arranging payment of partners' monthly drawings.
Running monthly reports on partners' performance data for circulation and to use for calculating payments due to partners.
Payment of partners' pension releases and other ad hoc payments to partners.
Review worldwide drawings submissions from international branch accountants, check for errors and raise queries as appropriate.
Preparation and checking of all London partner payslips for payment of monthly drawings.
General ledger postings, preparation of monthly bank reconciliations and inter-office loan reconciliations.
Reconciliation of partners' capital.
Deal with partner queries.
Maintain and update partners' remuneration spreadsheets.
Liaising with international branch accountants on queries and providing process instructions.
Maintain large number of interlinked spreadsheet in an accurate and efficient manner.
Develop and improve processes for more efficiencies.
Candidate Profile
The candidate will ideally be a graduate with a minimum of 5 years' experience within legal finance
Proficiency in Excel and Word
Able to read and analyse General Ledger Transactions
Excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
