This client is global law firm with offices in key business centres across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The firm employs approximately 2000 lawyers. Their London office has a headcount of circa 800.

They are now looking for a Financial Reporting and Budgeting Manager to join their Accounts Department, with 3 direct reports. This person will provide support in achieving the financial objectives of the office through analysis, presentation and interpretation. 
 
Responsibilities

Play a key role in global accounting initiatives.

Support production of statutory accounts for UK LLP and Staff Pensions Scheme.

Manage the preparation and production of the UK firm's annual fees and costs budget within the global budgeting process. 

Manage the preparation of monthly management accounts for the London office.

Review and interpretation of the monthly financial statements including profit & loss account, key revenue drivers and expenditure.

Production, review and interpretation of the balance sheet, including the monitoring and reconciliation of inter-company accounts.

Identification of opportunities for expenditure savings.

Assist in the production, review and interpretation of client profitability reporting.

Support in the monitoring and management of lockup to maximise cash availability.  

Modelling of financial scenarios for local and global management as requested.

Produce ad hoc presentations on global clients revenue and profitability

Assist in the preparation of client reporting requests.

Assist in preparing information for tender documents.

Candidate Profile

Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA).

Experience in a similar role, gained in a Partnership or LLP.

Significant experience in interpreting information for senior management

Knowledge of a multi-currency accounting package.

Adaptable and flexible.

Ability to delegate and mange to deadlines.
