Assistant Management Accountant

Our client is a large global law firm which represents many of the world's leading companies in complex litigation and other high-stakes disputes, cross-border and other strategic transactions, and crucial regulatory matters. They have offices across America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.

They are now recruiting for a Part-Qualified Assistant Management Accountant who will be responsible for partner and tax reporting, and the provision of management information. 

Responsibilities 

Maintaining partner schedules, including distributions, taxes, capital and interest

Reconciling partner schedules against associated partners accounts 

Ensuring monthly partner payrolls are effectively managed

Preparing monthly VAT returns & EC Sales Lists 

Maintaining the fixed asset register for Europe & Middle East entities

Preparing weekly and monthly reporting for management across the firm

Compiling information for annual audits 

Assisting with information requirements needed for the UK LLP tax return

Preparing periodic legal surveys and National Statistics reports

Assisting the banking team regarding electronic payments 

Candidate Profile

Part-Qualified accountant, actively studying towards an accounting qualification

Strong technical accounting skills with good attention to detail

Experience of dealing with partners and senior management 

Highly competent in using Excel and Word 

Ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
