Our client is a leading international law firm with over 50 offices and nearly 4000 lawyers spanning the globe. Their London based accounts department provides a professional service to the international practice.
They are now looking to hire a Partner Accountant to join their Tax and Capital Team. This role has responsibility for the maintenance of Partner current accounts and payment of profits to Partners.
Responsibilities
Forecasting, calculation, and payment of monthly drawings and quarterly distributions to Partners
Management of the schedule incorporating joiners, leavers and transfers
Preparation of monthly and quarterly BACs, and international payment instructions
Ensure equitable treatment of Partners’ remuneration levels
Provide assistance to Partners who have queries regarding current accounts and payments
Preparation of all annual current account statements for Partners
Monthly management and reconciliation of Partners’ current accounts in the balance sheet
Candidate Profile
Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant
Strong interpersonal skills, the ability to deal effectively with Partners
Self-motivated in meeting key deadlines
Strong numerical, analytical and reporting skills
Experience using SAP
