My client is one of the world’s largest and oldest law firms with a history stretching back to the 19th century. They are now a leading global firm with offices across the Americas, Asia and Europe.

They are now recruiting for a Revenue and Collections Supervisor.

Responsibilities

Review WIP and AR procedures

Monitoring the WIP and AR

To initiate proceedings to make sure outstanding debts are brought to a satisfactory conclusion

Contact clients before balances become overdue and manage outstanding balances

To actively participate in accounting and finance IT implementation or upgrade projects

Use existing firm software to develop reporting metrics on practices and billing attorneys

Supervise the London team and continually assess the team’s service level to ensure it meets or exceeds Partner and client requirements

Maintain Partner and key client relationships to ensure best tactical solutions are adhered to ensuring both WIP is billed and AR is collected on a timely basis 

Ensure that Partner and client needs and requests are being delivered by the team in the appropriate time and manage the performance and productivity of the team

Responsible for creating, implementing and revising processes and procedures, to monitor and report on WIP and AR

Research, resolve and propose solutions to partner queries to ensure timely billing and collection to and from clients

Prepare, review and distribute monthly reports for delinquent WIP and AR as well as potential and existing reserves

Responsible for monitoring AR, WIP and billing status of matters through direct contact and follow up with each Partner or team member

Candidate Profile

Previous experience gained within legal or Professional Services

Familiar with UK SAR

Good knowledge of Excel

Good communication skills are essential

Must be able to work on own initiative
