Our client is a truly international law firm with offices in all the major business location across the globe. 

Responsibilities

Assist and advise Disputes Partners with pricing decisions and client pricing negotiations

Work in close proximity with the wider pricing team to create financial models specific to pricing scenario and explain/present results and impact to all levels of seniority

Execute the daily work flow for the firm's pricing approval process which originates in London, US and EMEA and relates to Disputes

Provide analytical support to assist Partners on optimal pricing of major matters including initial pricing and any renegotiations

Be recognised internally as a pricing expert and one of the point of reference in the Disputes practice (principally London, EMEA and US) for those in need of pricing support

Provide data analytics to better understand and predict costs of delivering work

Review performance of existing pricing agreements to identify opportunities for enhancing current and future performance

Work with LPM staff to best harness the strong links that exist between pricing and LPM including joint training sessions and development of tools (matter tracking, dashboards etc.)

Candidate Profile

Professional accountancy qualification (preferred but not essential)

Degree qualified; undergraduate or post graduate

Knowledge of Pricing Regulations within the Disputes industry

Knowledge of ATE Insurance and Third Party Funding

Able to build relationships and influence all levels of seniority

Experience of using Elite or Aderant Expert (not essential but preferred)

Excellent excel skills

Experience of working in in a pricing-related role in a professional services environment (ideally a law firm)

Extremely numerate, self-motivated, able to work to tight deadlines and manage tasks
