We are looking for a commercial and relationship driven individual to join the client development and account management team of one of the worlds pre-eminent and globally leading law firms. Working with the wider team, you’ll have strategic responsibility and day-to-day management for several the firm’s priority accounts, delivering exceptional service and revenue growth through a range of innovative, advisory and value-led services.

What you’ll do

·         Develop a deep understanding of your client’s business, strategy and goals, working closely with the client relationship partners to define objectives and realise the potential for growth within those accounts.

·         Creating strategic client plans, you will manage the accountability for an internal client team structure and become the go to person between all service lines and the client to drive the relationship forward and cross sell effectively.

·         Act in a client facing capacity, from feedback meetings through to client hospitality; leveraging opportunities to fully integrate a network of relationships between the clients and the firm

·         Manage the firms value add services such as their secondee programme, continually reporting back to the business on ROI, effectiveness and opportunities to improve and further innovate.

·         Input into client panel pitches and other targeting/BD initiatives, building strong and credible relationships with fee-earners and other members of BD/Pitch Management team.

What we’re looking for

It goes without saying that previous experience in a similar role across professional services or a partnership structure is a pre-requisite, and where as we welcome applications from a broader business development or marketing background, experience of relationship management within large strategic accounts would be highly advantageous.

Candidates will be pragmatic, pro-active, and above all able to build trust, credibility and buy-in almost instantaneously.

Most importantly candidates will have a genuine interest in the commercial and business aspects of building client relationships within a top 10 global law firm, understanding and appreciating the challenges that lie ahead, and take genuine pride in finding creative and intuitive solutions moving forward.
