Marketing Assistant

An exciting Marketing Assistant has arisen with one of our clients; a leading law firm specialising in patent and trade mark attorneys. This is an exciting opportunity to join a modern, forward thinking firm that is well located in the centre of London. 

You will be assisting with:
• IP Newsletter 
• Press – developing press contacts and campaigns, placing articles and negotiating speaking slots 
• Website and Intranet
• Social networking – helping to devise and implement a social networking plan
• Responsibility for delivery of part of the events programme
• Pitching 
• CRM database and its development
• Compilation of Legal 500 information 
• Marketing administration

Requirements include:
This role is necessary to the smooth functioning of this small department and we are looking for someone who is bright and articulate with a ‘can-do’ attitude, who can act as first port of call for fee-earners; to become a trusted member of the team and use their initiative and take responsibility for a number of areas.
Also:
• Partnership experience is desirable, working in a previous marketing or legal role
• Must be IT illiterate including Advanced MS Office and Advanced Image Manipulation Software: Photoshop, Illustrator 
• Knowledge/Experience of Content Management Systems
