A leading US law firm based in the City is looking to hire a Practice Development Manager on a permanent basis.

The Practice Development Manager will play an instrumental role in the operational management of the practice development programme.

The key duties will include:

  • Working closely with the Chief Knowledge Officer and alongside other Managers to prepare key materials for relevant events and meetings
  • Organising global practice development programme meetings
  • Managing and monitoring MI processes and reporting
  • Establishing a working schedule to improve team work across the practice development programme
  • Coordinating financial management and budgeting materials for reports
  • Acting as a key point of contact for enquiries regarding the practice development programme

The Practice Development Manager will be an experienced manager, having spent an extensive period in a legal or professional services firm. Having a commercially minded approach to work is essential, as is experience of implementing large-scale development programmes in a similar setting. The ability to influence and manage stakeholders would be a highly desirable tool in this role, as would knowledge of a partnership environment.
