A central London based law firm based in the city is looking to hire a Learning and Development Manager on a permanent basis.

The Learning and Development Manager will provide strategic management of key development programmes within the firm.

The key duties will include:

  • Having responsibility for the implementation of the firms L&D strategy/policy
  • Responsible for the continuous development of the strategy working closely with the Managing Partner, HR Director and Departmental Heads.
  • Implementing and development of LMS
  • Responsible for designing, implementing and reviewing centrally organised learning and development whilst working closely with the Managing Partner, HR Director and Departmental Heads. It will include, but not limited to;
    Programmes, events, one-off courses, etc. for the firm. Specific generic groups e.g. trainees, newly qualified solicitors, associates, partners. Departments and other sub groups as required.

The Learning and Development Manager will have extensive experience within a managerial role in a law firm or professional services environment. They will have experience of identifying training needs analysis, having implemented similar programmes in a previous position. Strong facilitation and coaching skills are a must, as well as the ability to work closely with senior stakeholders to implement new programmes.
