My client is an international leading law firm, looking to hire a Recruitment & Development Coordinator to join their HR Team in their London office.

The Recruitment & Development Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the recruitment, management, development and qualification of trainee solicitors. The role will also have end-to-end responsibility for business services and will assist the HR Manager – Recruitment in the engagement of all partners and business services across the firm.

The key duties will include:

  • Assisting in screening applications for Open Days, Work Experience Programmes (WEPs) and training contracts.
  • Assisting law fairs and on campus events throughout the year, building relationships with key universities.
  • Attending networking sessions and events with partner organisations.
  • Providing support during the bi-annual qualification process.
  • Managing the new joiner, changes and leaver process.
  • Administering offer letter and contracts for trainees.
  • Managing some lateral recruitment roles.

The Recruitment & Development Coordinator will be a graduate with a strong administrative background in a legal or professional services area. They will have an ability to work under pressure, delivering to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment. Strong communication and people skills are essential, as the role will involve dealing with key stakeholders throughout the firm, as well as students and various external organisations. A flexible and adaptable approach to work will be required. Experience in graduate recruitment in highly desirable.
