An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IP Paralegal to join a top ranked Patents & Trademarks firm as a Litigation Paralegal.

The IP Paralegal will be working within a busy IP firm to provide support to the litigation team. This team has grown rapidly since inception in late 2014 and so this position is an excellent opportunity for growth and to take on more responsibility in the longer term.

The successful IP Paralegal will be a law graduate with good academics and genuine, demonstrable interest in Intellectual Property. Prior Commercial Litigation experience is preferred but those without will also be considered.

The Intellectual Property Paralegal’s main responsibilities will be to assist with case management and planning, document management and production, conduct legal research, particularly into patent litigation in the UK and throughout the EU, document disclosure review and preparing materials for trial.

The ideal Intellectual Property Paralegal will have knowledge of IP Litigation, particularly patents and trademarks and the various forums (e.g. EPO, IPEC, UKIPO).

This role is a fantastic opportunity to work with a market leading Patents and Trade Marks firm and their top tier clients. This is a 12 month contract initially with the potential to be made permanent and the salary is up to £30k, dependent on experience.
