A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal Manager to join a Magic Circle law firm in London.
The firm has an extremely well-regarded Commercial Litigation with a solid track record in high-value, cross-jurisdictional disputes. The department’s solicitors are experienced across a wide range of sectors and their clients including some of the world's most prominent multinational companies. The team are particularly active in disputes arising in the financial services, natural resources and aviation finance arenas.
This is a broad role that will include working alongside the senior Litigation Support Manager to act as an ambassador for the team across the business, to establish processes, promote effective communication, maintain quality control standards and to build solid working relationships between the paralegal team and other teams across the firm.
The successful Paralegal Manager will hold responsibility for all the litigation and senior paralegals across the firm, which is currently c. 20 paralegals. Day-to-day your responsibilities will entail paralegal resource management and project allocation, reporting to the fee earners and Litigation Support Manager on team activity and providing ongoing updates on business trends in relation to paralegals.
The Paralegal Manager would also play a key role in identifying, developing strategic initiatives to enhance paralegal support across Litigation.
Due to the scale of this role, the successful Paralegal Manager will have at least two years’ managerial/supervisory experience within litigation, preferably from Private Practice. Experience of the document review process is a pre-requisite.
