Litigation Manager

As the litigation manager, you will be responsible for handling your own pre-and post- litigated caseload from start to finish on court proceedings in relation to debt recovery, as well as supervising a small team. Your debt management responsibilities will include collecting outstanding volume accounts using advance investigatory tools to encourage debtors to settle or enter payment plans. You will also be required to communicate with necessary parties with a view of settling the debt and be confident in dealing with complex issues that arise from volume recoveries.

The ideal litigation manager will be confident in controlling and managing their workload effectively using case management systems and processes appropriately and be confident in conducting comprehensive investigations and preparing relevant reports.

The successful litigation manager will possess a minimum of 2-3 years’ debt recovery, credit collection, bankruptcy or counter claims litigation experience, caseload management experience from instruction to settlement is also required, along with demonstrable supervisory/team leader experience within the debt management field.

You must be IT literate, have excellent attention to detail, can work on your own initiative and have a positive attitude to work.
