An excellent opportunity has arisen for an IP Paralegal to join a top ranked Patents & Trade Marks firm on an initial fixed term contract, with the opportunity to go permanent.

The IP Paralegal will be working within a busy IP firm to provide support to the litigation team. This team has grown rapidly in recent years, so this position is an excellent opportunity for growth and to take on more responsibility in the longer term.

The successful IP Paralegal will be a law graduate with good academics and genuine, demonstrable interest in Intellectual Property. Prior IP Litigation (particularly patents) experience is preferred, but those with excellent academics and general commercial awareness will be considered.

The Intellectual Property Paralegal’s main responsibilities will be to assist with case management and planning, document management and production, conduct legal research, particularly into patent litigation in the UK and throughout the EU, document disclosure review and preparing materials for trial.

The ideal Intellectual Property Paralegal will have knowledge of IP Litigation, particularly patents, and the various forums (e.g. EPO, IPEC, UKIPO).
