Lovells announces Europe managing partner

Tuesday, 27th January 2009, 00::00

Christoph Kueppers is the new Lovells managing partner for continental Europe, the firm has announced.

The Dusseldorf-based partner, who heads the company's tax team in Germany, has taken up the position with immediate effect and will serve a three-year term in the legal job.

Mr Kueppers, an insurance specialist focusing on the areas of consolidation and reorganisation, will oversee Lovells' 14 offices in continental Europe and is replacing Harald Seisler, who stood down from the position in November of last year.

Managing partner for the firm David Harris said that Mr Kueppers' appointment will bring a "fresh approach to the region and a client-focused, business-driving emphasis".

"I am very pleased that Christoph is joining the management team," he added.

Earlier this week the firm appointed Antony Raven to its office in Tokyo, where he will service as a partner in its energy practice.

And Lovells also revealed that Brian Cassidy has joined the firm in Asia, with Andi Haryanto also taking up a position in the coming weeks.ADNFCR-1977-ID-18994257-ADNFCR
