Wales and Scotland see demand rise for legal professionals

Recent data gathered by the TotallyLegal team revealed that the number of jobs listed onsite based in Wales and Scotland grew in September.


Last month, the number of legal jobs in Wales posted to TotallyLegal grew month-on-month and year-on-year by 3% and 20% respectively. Meanwhile, law jobs in Scotland saw monthly growth of 10% and a yearly incline of 13%.

However, competition for these roles is fierce. The number of applications per vacancy (APV) for roles in Wales and Scotland grew month-on-month by 58% and 11% in September, suggesting that, while the number of these roles is on the up, so is demand.
