This vibrant South London Borough is currently seeking 2 Locum Lawyers for the Social Services and Education teams.

Your new role
Working closely with the Social Services and Education departments, you will be responsible for a broad range of complex casework, including advocacy on behalf of the authority, in addition to providing expert legal advice on areas such as Education Law, Child Care Law and Public Law.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role you must be a qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales, with a proven track record of providing high calibre advocacy and advisory services across child protection, education and social services law. You will be confident in managing judicial review and complex casework, able to deliver these vital services in line with the requirements and governance frameworks of a local authority.
