Outstanding fintech/digital payments - focused in-house opportunity for a 3+ PQE technology lawyer
Our client, a leading global finance firm, has a digital business which looks at the whole life cycle of digitising its products and services. Akin to an innovative incubator for our client, this business is now looking to hire a talented technology lawyer, who would sit with and advise the business on a broad range of digital technology transactions. Based in central London, the business has a dynamic and informal culture, in which innovation happens at a fast pace. Accordingly, the lawyers who support it need to be commercially pragmatic operators, comfortable challenging and being challenged.
The successful candidate will be a 3+ PQE lawyer with a strong grounding in technology law. In addition to specific experience of e.g. cloud computing, SaaS etc., you will also bring a reasonable understanding of the mechanics of digital payments / wallets etc.; recent fintech experience would be ideal. This is an exciting, challenging, high profile role, offering a unique balance between the nimble dynamics and quest for change of a boutique, with the security and buying power of a significant global player.
