Legal Counsel - Luxury Fashion Brand
An exciting and rare opportunity to join a well known and highly regarded global fashion brand for a Legal Counsel to cover a period of maternity leave commencing from December.
The role is based in Central London and will be the Sole Counsel for their UK and European operations offering a varied workload, a high level of autonomy and chance to work extensively across a number of key business stakeholders.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:
- Negotiating and drafting a range of commercial contracts
- Advising on IP and DP matters
- Working closely with the design and product teams
- Managing employment and dispute resolution matters
- Overseeing relevant compliance requirements are met
- Instructing external counsel where appropriate
You will be ideally around 5 years PQE with previous experience in the retail and/or fashion industry either gained in-house or with a reputable private practice firm. You will be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge in addition to being able to manage a varied and changing workload along with working autonomously. Your ability to quickly build rapport with key stakeholders and manage competing deadlines will ensure your continued success in this role. Some travel may be required on occasion to meet the requirements of the role.
