Immediate start for Family Solicitor in County Durham.

A multi-office, full-service practice with a rich history; our client offers expert advice and representation for clients in a broad range of practice areas. Committed to exceptional levels of client care they have built an enviable and loyal client base. They now require a Matrimonial Solicitor with legal aid experience to join them asap for eight months.

The Role
We are now seeking a technically proficient Family Solicitor to join our clients’ flourishing practice in the Consett area on a locum basis for around eight months. Hitting the ground running with a demanding, existing caseload, the successful Family Solicitor will manage a varied caseload incorporating Legal Aid and privately funded work to include care proceedings. The ideal Family Solicitor will be a member of the Law Society Family Panel, although this is not essential for the position.

This is a temporary position for eight months with the possibility of becoming permanent, suited to a confident Family Solicitor and offering a competitive salary. 

The Candidate
You must be a qualified Solicitor with at least 2 years’ PQE gained within a reputable Family department.
You must have experience of both public and privately funded matrimonial matters and care proceedings.
Membership of the Law Society Family Panel would be advantageous.
You will be able to hit the ground running with an existing caseload, working with minimal supervision.
You will be available to start as soon as possible for around eight months.
