COMMERCIAL IT/IP / PROCUREMENT LAWYER 3 PQE + LEEDS CITY CENTRE UP TO £63,250 DOE + RANGE OF BENEFITS
This non-departmental government body has a requirement at their Leeds City Centre office for an experienced IT/IP Commercial Lawyer to join their busy, expanding legal team.
Successful candidates will manage and advise primarily on agile development contracts, hardware and system infrastructure contracts, managed services, licensing and service frameworks, specifications and public procurement procedures together with general commercial vehicles for ICT delivery, and may also be involved in work relating to IP, IG, public law and vires issues, governance and policy compliance.
Some knowledge of employment law and commercial property may also be useful. Successful candidates will be working closely with the programme teams to help them achieve their objectives. The support can include drafting of major high value ICT contractual documents and contract specifications, and procurement documentation. Successful candidates can expect to be involved in some of the most high profile, complex and far reaching commercial issues in government.
They are looking for intellectually capable, highly motivated lawyers with excellent training and experience in some / all of the above areas, and with powerful communication skills.
