Applications are invited from talented lawyers aiming to fully utilise and develop their extensive Employment law talents, acting for a wide variety of employer clients, ranging from multinational corporations to small owner manager businesses to charities, across all sectors.
It is thought that the team requires 2, 3 or 4 years post qualification experience in all that is Employment law.
This level is seen as a guide as it is thought that the successful Employment lawyer will need to have gained at least 2 years PQE to have the breadth and exposure to cope with the matters that await. The successful Employment lawyer will enjoy a broad diet of both contentious and non-contentious matters, which may include:
- Advise on day-to-day HR issues
- Employment contracts and policies
- Claims in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeal Tribunal and the High Court
- Employment discrimination matters
- Restrictive covenants and confidential information
- Fiduciary duties
- Termination of employment, including redundancies and agreed departures
- Disciplinary and grievance processes
