An excellent opportunity has arisen for Graduates to join a well-established Law Firm in Manchester. Working within the fraud department you will be given full training and the opportunity to progress long term. You must have a keen interest in law, enjoy working within a busy department and have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
You will start by assisting on existing files working in close partnership with current fee earners and supervisors to help you become familiar with the litigation process. Alongside assisting on files, you will be enrolled into a training programme that can be personalised to suit your needs where you will learn various legal skills such as interviewing clients, drafting letters of advice, production of legal documents, considering evidence, negotiation skills and much more
You will undergo regular supervision with your line manager along with our open communication policy, receiving day-to-day support with a view to get you ready to take on your own files.
The Main Duties:

The Main Duties:
- To undertake direct communication with third parties on the telephone in a professional and effective manner
- Updating information into the case management system as requested
- Provision of first line support for client queries
- Drafting court documents and applications
- Attending hearing and mediations as and when required
- Taking client statements and reviewing medical records
- Assisting with Fee Earners chasers and post
- Dealing with files as and when they are allocated to you
- To assist with the efficient running of the office generally
- In addition the employee is required to perform other responsibilities assigned by the Partnership as requested
